Jeffrey Hanford, in England, 3 rd. Richard Sealis 12-15-1637 in Scituate. At age 46, with brother Timothy Hatherly and her daughters Lettice Hanford age 16, who married Edward Foster ca 1634 and Margaret Hanford age 14, married Isaac Robinson 1636, came to N.E. in 1634 on the ship "Planter" in April 1635. When she married Richard Sealis in Scituate 12-15-1637, Timothy Hatherly gave her a lot of land, 3-3-1640, and in 1646 made her husband a Conahasset Partner in his land grant from King James 1st. His will gives to his wife Eglin and the daughters of Eglin Hanford Sealis. Rev. Thomas Hanford, the son of Eglin Hatherly- ?? -Hanford and soon to be Sealis, came over to N.E. to serve in the ministry in Norwalk, Conn. He has no record in Scituate and probably the only son of Eglin. Will of Timothy Hatherly 12-12-1664: re: Hanfords.
