Records:  show he had a 1st. wife  buried 3-25-1638 in Plymouth.
                "Able To Bear Arms" listing 1643 from Barnstable, which indicates his involvement with the 
               Rev. John Lothrup and his church. He was excommunicated 2-23-1644 from Rev. Lothrup's church
                     for lying and possible stealing. In 1-31-1646 he repented and was reunited with the church, and
                     removed to Scituate 2-10-1646.

               1st Jonathan wounded in Pequot War 1676, participant in Showamett Indian lands in Taunton, and     
               paid œ6, 5p, 4s for service in the Pequot War under  Cornet Robert Stetson.
